Usage:
File -> "OPEN NCAA 2014 AST"
Loads in an AST file compatible with the ps3 version of Ncaa 2014.
While the files are loading, they are decompressed and the type of file is defined.
If a given filetype is undefined it will be referred to as "DAT" or data.

Currently, the defined filetypes are :
AST, APT, RSF, XML, comp (compressed), GD, p3R and DDS.

The directory of files contained in a given AST will be displayed after the AST file is loaded and processed.
Right clicking on a selection of files will allow those selected files to be exported.
Right clicking on a selected file will also allow importing/replacing of that file.
When importing/replacing a given file, the same filetype should be used.

Image display:
DDS or p3R files will have a preview displayed. This preview is not an exact image, the exact images need to be extracted from a given AST file.
The image will also its' basic format details displayed. When replacing/importing custom images, in most cases, the formatting should be the same.

p3R files are DDS based files.
p3R will automatically be converted to DDS files when they are exported.
DDS files will automatically be converted to p3R files when imported and when it is required.

File-> "Open RSF"
Loads in a texture based RSF file that is compatible with the ps3 version of Ncaa 2014.
This is experimental.
Various editing options are available for a texture based model ONLY.
Functionality may be limited, unstable and/or non working.
Functions will not be discussed in this ReadMe for the above reason(s).

This will NOT edit a model that contains geometry !!!

File -> Save as:
Saves the currently loaded file and any changes made to it. This WILL NOT overwrite the currently loaded file. Again, back up your files first before editing/saving.

Tools -> "Load fe2ig Descriptions."
This is specifically for the ps3 NCAA 2014 qkl_fe2ig.ast file.
This should only be done when the qkl_fe2ig.ast file is currently loaded in the editor.
Will load descriptions of the contents of the NCAA qkl_fe2ig.ast file.
These descriptions may or may not be entirely accurate, they were based on community feedback at a time when the the code to do this was first created. They have not been updated since that time.

Editing, Customizing, importing
DDS files can be edited with Photoshop, along with the intel and/or Nvidia texture tools.
Some people report success with Gimp as well, but Photoshop is likely going to be the best option for editing DDS files.
It is beyond the scope of the ReadMe to explain how to edit graphics or any of the other file types contained in the AST files.

Please completely close the editor down before loading a new AST/RSF file.
