Isn’t it?Let me share my Panasonic internship experience todayHonestly, when you are working at a big MNC as an intern, that too, at an undergraduate level, the probability that people will take you seriously is too less! -> You aren’t their employee who’s on a pay-roll-> You aren’t someone who is there for a long term-> You aren’t someone who will adapt to their culture in a month or twoStill, they will treat you nicely, but that’s not enough if you really want to add some value and make that experience count.You have to go an extra mile, seeking to work by showing your interest and constantly proving your reporting manager that you are willing to put in more. I’m thankful to my manager to trust me as a result of which, I was exposed to the consumer market trends and how to conduct competitive analysis.You ought to take that first step because the days are gone when you used to be spoon fed!The only mantra that works here is :-ASK for it -> WORK on it -> DELIVER results #internship #experience #mnc

Just wrapped up my internship journey as a Finance Intern at Infineon Technologies, one of the ten largest semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. It's been an amazing ride full of lessons learned, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime.Being part of the Controlling team has given me invaluable deep into the intricate world of corporate financing, especially as it pertains to a company with a strong manufacturing foundation, which will profoundly influence my future career path.Thanks to Infineon for giving me this chance to learn and get real work experience. I am thankful enormously to the fantastic people and professionals I have met during my internship for taking time out of their busy schedules to mentor me and share their wealth of knowledge and expertise with me. Throughout the internship, Excel is undoubtedly one of the most useful skills I have learned. I knew how to use Excel pretty well before the internship, but it took me to a whole new level. Excel is more than just entering data; it's about learning how to use complex formulas, functions, and tools that allow controllers to do calculations and data analysis to make smarter decisions. Not to mention, I was delighted to be exposed to Infineon's digital agenda, exemplified by initiatives such as OneSAP and Tableau which significantly enhanced the attainment of business objectives. 🌟 Internship Experience Sharing 🌟I want to share the unique summer internship journey of X, a recent intern at Micron. X joined the Fab Support Warehouse department at Micron's Taoyuan Gushan factory after discovering the opportunity through the IEEM department email. After submitting a resume and acing the interview, X was in. The sheer scale of the company and its modern atmosphere, coupled with the helpful guidance from HR, made X's first impressions positive. The initial days involved engaging training sessions where HR introduced essential information and explained company systems.At Micron, X's routine was dynamic. Tasks ranged from understanding department operations to proposing and completing a project optimizing warehouse workflows. X honed skills in crafting presentations, reports, and data analysis, making a confident return to school. Collaborating with a mentor daily, X tackled practical project challenges with gratitude for the mentor's guidance. Project topic selection wasn't easy due to the department's diversity, teaching X thoughtful consideration.From knowing nothing about the department to a deep understanding, X felt a great sense of achievement. Looking ahead, X aims to apply gained knowledge and skills in future endeavors. This internship not only broadened X's professional outlook but also fueled anticipation for future challenges. As the summer comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on my enriching and transformative experience as a Research Intern in the logistics sector. Over the last two months, I had an incredible opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project, learn from industry experts and gain valuable insights into the logistics industry. Here are some key takeaways and lessons learned from my summer research internship-:1️⃣Immersion in the logistics sector- From day one, my internship provided me with a deep dive into the complex world of logistics. Working alongside experienced professionals, I gained firsthand exposure to various aspects of supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. This immersive experience broadened my understanding of the industry, its challenges, and the critical role logistics in driving business success.2️⃣Research and analytical skills- During my internship, I had an opportunity to work on the sales performance of various salesperson of 3 consecutive years and evaluating the key metrics also developing comprehensive reports. Through this process, I honed my research and analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem solving and critical thinking. 3️⃣Collaboration and networking- One of the highlights of my internship was the collaborative environment that fostered teamwork and knowledge sharing. Additionally, I had the chance to network with professionals in the logistics industry.4️⃣Professional and Personal growth- Beyond the technical skills I acquired, my internship provided numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. I learned how to manage my time effectively, adapt to fast paced environment and communicate my ideas succinctly. The experience also strengthened my problem-solving abilities, as I was faced with real world challenges that required innovative thinking and resourcefulness. Most importantly, I developed a greater sense of self confidence and independence, which will undoubtedly serve me in future. I learned that sometimes asking for feedback or receiving feedback is difficult to hear, but it will have a significant impact on results.Also, I leant that a good communication would help with productivity, efficiency, engagement and growth.Q: Did the internship prepare you for a career in your field?A: YesWhat would it be if you could choose your dream job? Why?A: Exterior Car Designer. That's my passion and I've been preparing myself for that job by building my career towards it.Q: What is the best tip you can offer other international students trying to secure an internship?A: Build your network. Try to be more active on LinkedIn. Never lose your hope. Cuz, I got only one acceptance letter out of 200.
